U.S. Patriot and Under Armour Celebrate Service Members with Exclusive VIP Experience

In a powerful display of appreciation for our nation’s heroes, U.S. Patriot joined forces with Under Armour to host the USP x Under Armour Sweepstakes. This was a campaign designed to honor active-duty service members from across every military branch.
This special initiative offered more than just prizes; it offered purpose. Through in-store displays, email outreach, and social media, service members were invited to enter for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: An all-expenses-paid VIP experience at Under Armour’s global headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.
A True VIP Experience
Winners received an unforgettable package that included:
- Round-trip travel
- Hotel accommodations
- Meals
- A guided VIP tour of Under Armour’s campus
- A design collaboration session with UA’s product team
- A $500 shopping spree at the UA Brand House
To increase engagement, participants also earned bonus entries for purchasing Under Armour gear during the promotional period, though no purchase was necessary to win.
Meet the Honorees
Out of thousands of entries, four service members were selected to receive this exclusive experience:
- CPT Hallie Freeman, U.S. Army
- SPC John Bullis, U.S. Army
- TSGT Jessie Ornelas, U.S. Air Force
- SFC Derek Gonzalez, U.S. Army
These individuals were chosen not only for their service, but for embodying the strength, commitment, and leadership that defines today’s military community.
More Than Just a Giveaway
“This campaign was about more than just a giveaway; it was about creating a meaningful connection between the brands we represent and the brave individuals we serve. We’re proud to partner with vendors like Under Armour who share our values and commitment to the military. These winners represent the absolute best of our community, and we’re honored to celebrate them in this way,” said Josh Sandhaus, VP of Operations at U.S. Patriot.
One of the winners, SPC John Bullis, echoed that sentiment, saying:
“As I look back, it wasn’t about the gear, the new tech, or getting some free swag. To me, this experience was about 3 companies: UA, U.S. Patriot, and IdeaRanch. Collaborating because they care immensely about their products and their end users. This speaks volumes about each one of the members and showcased the passion you all had for our experience and service.”
